Michigan Department of Community Health

It feels incredibly good knowing your strategic creativity can help improve a healthier Michigan. The awards are the humbling side-effects of hard work. From abstinence to AIDS, responsible gambling to cancer-screenings, when it comes to social change for the better, I'm all in.

Like this campaign for Second-hand smoke. The challenge was to create a compelling reason for smokers who wanted to quit, to call the MDCH quit line. Though it will seem obvious after watching this commercial, it took research out of Vancouver Canada to prove that taking your habit outside would be a simple solution to decrease the effects of secondhand smoke. The challenge was to create a compelling reason to take it outside - like kids.

The results showed this campaign made an enormous impact on parents, and quit-line calls were off the hook. Soon after this campaign ran in Michigan, it was sought out and purchased by other Community Health Departments around the country.

It also caught the ear of the awards shows, scooping up Best in Show here in Detroit, the coveted Radio Mercury Award in NY, Best in Show Global HealthCare Awards & Best in Show Mobius.

Bird & Bee put on quite a performance in hopes of inspiring their daughter to wait for sex. Talk early, talk often.

When it comes to talking to your kids about sex, your words are more powerful than you think. Talk early, talk often.

A gambling problem is just the beginning of your problems.

A lucky hand, a lucky streak, a lucky thing you heard this radio spot.

Lucky for you, I'm available for your next project.
